Meet Mrs. O'Reilly
Hello Everyone,
This was an introduction letter that I shared with the students
on day 2 of Term 1.
My name is Mrs O’Reilly and I am a 4th year student teacher from Murdoch University.
I am excited to be in your class and will be here for two weeks now and then I will be back in
term 3 for the whole term.
Let me tell you a little bit of information about myself. I am originally for Tasmania and my mother and my brother still live there. I have been in Perth for about 20 years, so quite a while.
I have 3 children and they are all teenagers. My eldest son Dillon is playing football full time at
The Dockers, my daughter Bree will go to university at Murdoch next year and my youngest son
Finn starts an electrical apprenticeship in February.
There are four pets in our family. We have a cat called Ninja, two gorgeous Labrador dogs
called Max and Jimmy and my daughter has brittle nose catfish called Lenny. Ninja is scared of everything and would hide if you came to visit. Jimmy and Max would bark a lot but they do love cuddles and walks. Being Labradors they also really love food!
On the weekend I love going to the beach. Max and Jimmy love the beach. They chase the
ball along the sand and swim out in the water to get it! I laugh watching them as they jump
through the waves racing to get the tennis ball.
I am looking forward to getting to know you all and your families. I can’t wait to hear and
read about your holidays, pets, families and even what you like to eat.
It is going to be a great year!
Love from Mrs O’Reilly
