Crunch & Sip
As we are a ‘Crunch & Sip’
school children are welcome to
bring in a piece of fruit or a small container of cut fruit and/or vegetables to eat during the
working sessions in class.
Please be aware that 'Crunch & Sip' is to be specifically fruit and/or vegetables and that it is not compulsory.
'Clean' or 'easy' options will ensure that your child's 'Crunch & Sip' does
not inhibit their work productivity and will ensure your child
(and their work space) stays clean and tidy.
For example:
Clean/easy options include cut veggies, whole pieces like apples/pairs,
small container of grapes/ berries etc
Options to avoid (may be messy or time consuming) include very juicy
fruits such as oranges and watermelon - anything that they will
need a knife/fork for etc
Basically - its welcome but we don't want it getting in the way
of the learning.
For more information check out the
Crunch and Sip website.
